For us dual-booters, who have to go online in Windows from time to time it would be great to be able to manually enter amounts of traffic/time spent elsewhere. So we would have all our stats in one place instead of having to keep in mind the values from both OS'.

more Statistics would be useful. When where you online, how much have you downloaded, how long was the time... and free adjustment of the period (that you can fit it to your bill-period)

Just remembered. One feature it could have is-

Dual connection mode where a bigger window can help manage two connections and also a Statistics box that shows the bound stats of both connections!!!

since it already has settings for germany, and would work with my phone it seems quite good.
I would push the idea of conection restriction even further, like a button reading: start browser, and a costumized profile of safari (or opera, i'd know how to configure that, not for safari) would pop up which is the only programm allowed to use the connection, it could be set to not load images, or flash, or plugins, or not pages that are to large.
There could also be a run Mail button, that gives conection permission to mail. You could configure such permissions for every other programm.

Sending and receiving SMS' would be a great plus. Maybe display it in some kind of chat window per recipient.

I second the tethering of phones without that ability explicitly available - ie. iphone. Not sure if this is achievable, but i'm sure there's a lot of iphone users out there waiting for exactly that.

Being able to tether phones that don't inherently have that capability would be infinitely helpful. The main target of course being the iPhone.

I'd love to see launch2net automatically detect if the mobile connection speed is better/worse than any picked up (free/known) wifi signals, and connect with the strongest signal automatically.

Since this is based on GSM navigation, and that the bandwidth costs are quite elevated, perhaps a protocol restriction (like, just allowing HTTP through) would be a quite nice and perhaps easy (just play around with iptables...) feature to implement.
