I would push the idea of conection restriction even further, like a button reading: start browser, and a costumized profile of safari (or opera, i'd know how to configure that, not for safari) would pop up which is the only programm allowed to use the connection, it could be set to not load images, or flash, or plugins, or not pages that are to large. There could also be a run Mail button, that gives conection permission to mail.
