Adobe Lightroom Beta lets you view, zoom in, and compare photographs quickly and easily. Precise, photography-specific adjustments allow you to fine tune your images while maintaining the highest level of image quality from capture through output. Clearly Lightroom is being rushed to market in response to Apple’s Aperture and is only half done. The good thing about that, is it means that Apple will really work hard to improve Aperture. Unlike Aperture, Lightroom runs on most newer computers with Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) installed.
