Document Palette

****

Document Palette allows you to create new documents directly in open folders. It holds document types that you frequently use and allows you to create documents without launching an editor and without fumbling around in awkward save panels. While in an open folder, just press the key combination Control-Option-Command-N to make the palette pop up, then select a document type.

This app would be so much better if the icon would not stay in the dock. If they made it as a prefpane where I don’t have to see the icon in my dock the entire time I would buy this is a second.

Actually, just force quit the app and the little “helper app” stays ready. Yeah, it’s a hack, but it works.
